The context
Wipro was an important foundational stage in my career. After my MBA, I joined as a Presales Consultant and worked predominantly around process mining, including Celonis. This was where I learned how to take a technology that can sound abstract and explain, clearly, why a customer should care.
The work
Presales, RFP responses, solution proposals, project plans, process mining use cases, process optimisation, demand generation, customer presentations, and building solution concepts — including a Supply Chain Command Center concept for major medical-device organisations.
The MBA internship: account intelligence
During my MBA internship as a Management Trainee, I worked on Wipro's Americas business. Wipro had identified roughly 20 priority accounts for potential penetration. I researched those accounts and mapped existing Wipro presence, existing engagements, potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and other Wipro divisions that could create an entry point.
I built an account matrix from that research and identified three relatively low-hanging-fruit opportunities for direct solution pitches. That work contributed to my eventual pre-placement offer.
What I learned
This stage taught me the fundamentals of research → identify opportunity → position solution → create demand → pitch. It was my first meaningful exposure to the commercial side of technology solutioning, and it laid the foundation for everything that followed.
